I chose this song to be my first song of 24.. Lyrically it’s amazing and musically it hits all the feel good tones. Nothing too harsh or sharp it just rides, so I think it’s fitting. (I mean who doesn’t like whistling in a song)

So 24… holy shit

How did I make it here? I’m pretty sure this wasn’t supposed to happen, I think someone upstairs screwed up and should be terminated immediately! Meh.. oh well.. with their screw up I think I’ll let myself flourish and enjoy this next year or so. It’s scary getting older, especially when you’re such a lost soul as myself (when I say lost I mean: unmotivated, confused and stagnant) With WORLDS at my finger tips I think it’s about time I choose one and run with it.

It’s been proven to me time and time again that my faults are palatable by the people I’ve surrounded myself with, that I’ve loved and will continue to love because of this. I consider it a great gift that they’ve given to me. If you’re lost.. I’m talking about peoples capacity to tolerate, relate, understand, laugh, quaff, and just love me. It’s a beautiful thing. 

My life’s been a beautiful thing.. and it’s not quite over yet.

So lets keep it going..

a lot of memories attached to this song… it was introduced to me early in my life at a time where I really didn’t have a appreciation for music and the artistry that comes with it. It was then reintroduced to me within a friendship. Music has a way of coming back to you. This song has been haunting me for the past 15 years.

crooning petite vocals, deep harmonizing tones of the keyboard, bass lines that don’t rattle but shack you, loose drums yet to precisely timed, and finally that guitar that just gives that sway. It provides light, but it sucks you right back into the darkness of the song all at the same time.

Enjoy as I have been
